Stephanie Laurice Carr is a Brooklyn, New York native but current New Bern, North Carolina resident. Carr is a graduate of North Carolina Central University. In 2006 Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication. At a very early age Carr wanted to pursue the lime light in the field of entertainment particularly television. Stephanie childhood passions have surrounded acting, modeling and journalism. That dream began to take shape in 2007 as she became a correspondent with Brand Newz. Stephanie feels that the stereotypical examples shown on local, national and international media outlets lean away from the actually truths of these matters in most cases.

Stephanie gives God the glory and praise for giving her the strength to overcome all that she has faced. Stephanie feels that the best is yet to come. Stephanie is focused on her future, dreams and goals. She constantly reminds herself of those goals through prayer and one of her favorite scriptures; Jeremiah “For I know the plan that I have for your life, one to prosper and not harm. One to give hope and a future.”

Stephanie believes this is only the beginning for her and only God knows what lies ahead. Carr states, I fully trust him to lead the way” love hard, forgive quickly and believe the unbelievable!”
